One-Size-Fits-None
Most multivitamins rely on fixed formulas that ignore what your diet already provides. They're built for the "average person," not for your nutritional intake.
Somavera analyzes your diet to identify what you're already getting — and what you’re not — so your formula is tailored to your needs.
Striking the Right Balance
Optimal nutrition isn’t about taking more—it’s about taking what you truly need. Each micronutrient has a range where it supports your body best. Too little leaves your body under-supported; too much places unnecessary stress on your system.
Somavera’s diet-adaptive approach calibrates each micronutrient to help keep your intake within that ideal range.
Precision Starts with Your Diet
Somavera’s algorithm is built on data from more than 250,000 foods and the dietary patterns of tens of thousands of individuals across the U.S. Using these extensive nutritional datasets, we estimate your daily micronutrient intake, identify meaningful gaps, and tailor each dosage precisely—filling what your diet lacks while preventing unnecessary excess.
-
Share How You Eat
A short quiz asks about foods you ate over the past 24 hours. We focus on pattern-identifying foods and how often you consumed them.
-
We Analyze Your Intake
Our algorithm estimates your micronutrient intake using large-scale nutritional data and real-world dietary patterns.

Each micronutrient dosage is calibrated to address gaps while keeping intake within appropriate ranges.
Whole-Food Nutrients, Chosen With Intention
Not all vitamins are created equal. Many multivitamins rely on synthetic isolates or bloated formulas designed to look impressive on a label—rather than to support the body effectively.
Somavera uses a focused set of whole-food and microorganism-derived nutrients, selected for bioavailability, compatibility, and real physiological impact. Every ingredient earns its place, and nothing is added without purpose.

Balanced Dosages
Designed for Balanced Supplementation
Micronutrient supplements—whether multivitamins or standalone formulas—can vary widely in the amounts they provide. Some fall short, while others supply more than is helpful, making it difficult to achieve and maintain a balanced intake.
Like sun exposure, supplementation is most beneficial when it’s approached with moderation—enough to support the body, without placing extra strain on your system. Somavera is designed to support balanced, long-term supplementation by addressing real gaps without unnecessary excess.

Built by Nutrition Scientists
Somavera was founded and is led by Dr. Kijoon Kim, a nutrition scientist whose research on diet and chronic disease has been cited by the USDA and FDA. Our approach is grounded in well-established science and large-scale nutritional data—not trends or one-size-fits-all formulas.
Rather than offering uniform doses for everyone, we focus on understanding what people actually get from their diets and designing supplementation that fits within those individual contexts. This personalized approach guides every recommendation we make.
Frequently Asked Questions
Aren't all multivitamins designed to fill nutritional gaps?
Not exactly. Most multivitamins use fixed formulas that don’t account for what individuals already get from their diets, which can lead to some nutrients being under- or over-supplied.
Why does dosage matter?
Micronutrients are most effective within appropriate intake ranges. Too little may be insufficient to support normal function, while too much can place unnecessary strain on the system over time.
How is my diet analyzed?
We use a short dietary questionnaire based on a 24-hour recall, focusing on pattern-identifying foods. Your responses are evaluated using extensive nutritional datasets to estimate your daily micronutrient intake.
Is the diet analysis free, and do I need to sign up to see my results?
Yes. The dietary analysis is completely free, and you can view your results without sharing your contact information or creating an account. If you choose to move forward after reviewing your results, you can then opt into a personalized multivitamin subscription.
When will my personalized formula be ready?
Your very first order typically takes 3–4 business days to prepare, with delivery taking an additional 2–6 business days depending on location. Subsequent monthly orders are prepared more quickly, usually within 1–2 business days.
Can I combine this with other supplements?
We generally recommend avoiding stacking additional vitamin or mineral supplements unless advised by your healthcare provider, as your formula is designed to account for your micronutrient needs. Non-micronutrient supplements such as omega-3s or probiotics can typically be taken alongside your multivitamin.
